Four decades of vintage police cars to appear at Classic Motor Show

People who are passionate about the kind of vehicles that require classic and vintage car insurance will be able to view vintage police autos from four different decades at an upcoming event, it has been revealed.

The 2009 Classic Motor Show is due to display patrol models from the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s.

On the Police Car UK stand, some six cars will be on view.

In addition to this, Die Deutschen Klassiker (DDK) - an online pre-1974 Porsche club - will be displaying a 1958 model previously used by law enforcement officers in Austria.

Helen Goff from DDK said the car in question is extremely rare.

Commenting on the Porsche 356A, she stated: "We understand this is the only one left from just three made for the Austrian police and only 16 worldwide."

The Classic Motor Show will be held at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham between November 13th and 15th.

Meanwhile, Race Retro recently announced next year's celebrated marque is to be Alfa Romeo.
