London Classic Car Auction

Fans of classic vehicles might be tempted to head along next week to the Coys True Greats Auction, which is being held at the Royal Horticultural Halls in London on Wednesday (December 7th).

Visitors will be treated to a showcase of 36 of the finest classic vehicles, including a Cord 810 Phaeton owned by both Jimmy Page and Duncan Bannatyne, as well as an Aston Martin DB5 owned by former Beatle George Harrison, with the total valuation of the lots coming to more than £6 million.

Managing director of Coys Chris Routledge commented: "The classic car market is one that is still buoyant and many people are looking at cars as an investment that is also fun."

He added there are a number of extremely interesting classic cars on sale, which could make the ultimate Christmas present for that special someone this year.

Viewing times for all the lots is being held on Tuesday from 12:00 until 20:00 GMT, with the auction itself getting underway at 16:00 the following day.
