Race Retro challenge may tempt classic car insurance customers

Classic and collectors car insurance customers who are used to tinkering with their own vehicles may want to sign up for a competition being run at Race Retro next weekend.

Organisers have announced they will be holding a Demon Tweeks speed wheel-changing contest.

Teams of two will be timed while they change a front and rear wheel on a 998 Hillman Imp.

Whichever duo completes the task quickest will get to keep the Demon Tweeks aluminium racing jack and speed wheelbrace they were given to carry out the challenge.

Visitors keen to enter the competition have been advised to make their way to the live stage in hall three.

Race Retro gets underway on March 13th and runs until 15th.

Advance adult tickets for the Friday cost £20 and are priced at £15 for the Saturday and Sunday.

Live promotions - the company organising Race Retro - previously claimed the event was a good chance to escape from the economic doom and gloom dominating the news at the moment.
