Renault to showcase business vehicles at Fleet News event

Van and company car drivers will be able to see a number of new Renault offerings for the sector at the Fleet News Company Car in Action show this week.

Taking place on June 28th and 29th 2011, the event at the Millbrook Proving Ground sees the French manufacturer exhibiting 22 vehicles aimed at business users.

Most prominently featured are the electric Kangoo Van ZE and Fluence ZE models, both of which are designed to offer comparable performance to their petrol-powered counterparts, while being far more environmentally friendly.

Other vehicles on display include the Clio Eco, Scenic 1.6 Energy dCi 130 and Megane Renaultsport 250.

Darren Payne, Renault UK's director of commercial vehicles and fleet operations, said: "Fleet News' Company Car in Action event is a fantastic showcase for Renault's electric vehicle range and it will be one of the first opportunities to experience these impressive vehicles in advance of their launch."

Renault has also confirmed a UK price for its Fluence ZE model this week, with the electric saloon set to retail for £17,850 once the UK Plug-In Car Grant is taken into account.
