Chelsea AutoLegends set to dazzle capital.

Vintage car and bike event Chelsea AutoLegends will hit the capital for the second year running in September, showcasing legendary Le Mans racers and hosting a classic bike and supercar run through central London.

The show will be located on the grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea and aims to raise money for the hospital's veteran pensioners. Event patron Sir Stirling Moss, along with eight-time world motorcycle champion Phil Read, is reportedly attending.

Along with the Motoring Committee at the Royal Automobile Club, the automotive event is supported by community motor blog PistonHeads, which has helped organise the supercar run that will see 30 of the most powerful cars cruise through the metropolitan streets.

"We are proud to be associated with Chelsea AutoLegends," said Paul Garlick, brand manager of the site. "The show is a wonderful addition to the motoring calendar."

Featuring in the show's tributes will be the Jaguar E-type and the Austin Mini, which are both celebrating their 50th anniversaries this year. The event is due to be held on September 4th, with the PistonHeads run through central London commencing at 10:00 BST.
