Business Insurance - Toyota Verso wins award for its safety rating

The Toyota Verso has been named the safest multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) of last year by Euro NCAP.

According to the industry's benchmark testing organisation, the vehicle came out on top with the highest combined percentage scores in each test category of any MPV that took part in an independent crash test and assessment course.

Among the highlights for the vehicle was its 89 per cent score for adult occupant safety, plus it also managed 86 per cent and 75 per cent for safety assistance and child occupants respectively.

What's more, these figures could be welcome news to business car insurance seekers looking for a new automobile for their company fleet.

In addition to this, all versions of the Verso come with seven airbags and traction control.

Earlier this month, the brand revealed its Toyota AYGO Go! now comes with an array of multimedia features such as a TomTom satnav with touchscreen and voice recognition, plus Bluetooth and USB ports.
