Business Insurance - Infiniti highlights M35h choice for fleets

Vehicle manufacturer Infiniti has highlighted its new M35h hybrid saloon for companies across the UK, claiming the vehicle is a perfect choice for those looking for a luxury fleet option for their staff.

Infiniti has been keen to highlight the low emissions of its new M35h model of just 159 g/km of CO2, bringing the vehicle into the lower emission range of 160 g/km or less.

This means companies can claim back 20 per cent of the cost of the car as capital expenditure under the government's Write Down Allowance for UK businesses, as opposed to just ten per cent offered for vehicles above this emissions threshold.

As a result, the M35h has now also moved into a lower tax band for drivers, with the company claiming this means drivers in the higher 40 per cent tax band could make annual savings of £180 on average.

UK fleet sales manager Simon Lewis commented: "The Infiniti M35h is already popular with companies seeking a luxury saloon with no compromise on performance or fuel consumption.

"Now with its no-compromise approach to running costs, it offers fleet buyers a car that is both hugely enticing and entirely sensible - a combination we think they will approve of."

Utilising a 3.5-litre V6 hybrid engine, the M35h is rear-wheel drive and comes with a seven-speed automatic gearbox and transmission with an optional manual mode.

Acceleration for the vehicle from zero to 62 mph is a respectable 5.5 seconds and the car can be purchased on the road from £46,480.

The manufacturer is an offshoot of Japanese parent company Nissan and has been building a steady following over the last 20 years. It now operates 35 Infiniti Centres across the UK, which aim to arouse the creativity of the public through their unique services and "awe-inspiring" architecture.
