Business Insurance - EDF Energy adds Peugeot i0n to its fleet

Business car insurance customers might like to note that EDF Energy has become the first UK company to add the Peugeot i0n to its fleet.

The organisation - Britain's largest producer of low carbon electricity - made the move because the electric vehicle supports its sustainability ideology.

Eric Salomon, energy field services director at the firm, said: "We are delighted to add the first Peugeot i0n in the UK to our fleet. It fits in perfectly with our ambitions to provide low carbon solutions."

What's more, he pointed out that the company supports the development of electric vehicles and stated the purchase of green transport is crucial for Britain to meet its carbon reduction targets.

Further positive news came for Peugeot earlier this month as the brand revealed its 3008 model - which was introduced in October 2009 - won Best Crossover of the Year 2011 at the What Car? awards.
