Van Insurance - Vauxhall to exhibit at the CV Show

Vauxhall Commercial Vehicles has announced its intention to showcase its vast range of vans at the upcoming CV Show in Birmingham.

Set to take place at the NEC from April 24th to 26th, the event will enable manufacturers and buyers alike to view the latest innovations in the UK commercial vehicle market.

Vauxhall will be no exception in 2012 and has planned an array of exhibits to highlight the versatility of its Movano, Vivaro, New Combo, Astravan and Corsavan models.

Currently the number one van manufacturer in the UK, Vauxhall's light commercial vehicles (LCVs) range from panel vans and passenger carriers to factory-finished tipper and dropside vehicles.

A highlight for attendees is sure to be the first glimpse of Vauxhall's new Combo offering, which provides a load capacity of 3.43 cubic metres for the standard model and up to 4.3 cubic metres for its long wheelbase variant.

Furthermore, the vehicle has excellent environmental credentials, delivering fuel efficiency of up to 67.3 mpg and emissions as low as 126 g/km of CO2, while also featuring the manufacturer's proprietary Start/Stop technology to ensure fuel is not being wasted in slow moving traffic and when the vehicle comes to a standstill at lights.

Meanwhile, Nissan announced earlier this month that the vehicle manufacturer aims to debut its new LCV NV400 chassis cab at the upcoming CV Show.

Featuring 13 variants, the NV400 is aimed at companies requiring dropside and tipper vehicles to transport cargo. It offers both front and rear-wheel drive options, as well as two engine choices of 125 and 150 bhp, making it a highly versatile vehicle for commercial users.
