Van Insurance - Nemo named best city van 2012

The Citroen Nemo has picked up the honour of being named best city van 2012 at the first ever Trade Van Driver Awards.

According to the awards' judging panel, the Nemo offers a large payload capacity of 2.8 cubic metres, meaning owners are able to transport large orders with ease, while the vehicle's short wheel base ensures it has excellent manoeuvrability in the tightly-packed traffic of the urban environment.

Citroen commercial vehicle operations manager Scott Michael commented: "The Nemo is perfect for a wide variety of business applications and is sufficiently versatile to provide fuel-efficient, low-cost business transport for all types of operations, be they in or out of town."

Last month, the Kangoo ZE was named the VansA2Z.com ecovan of the year, with the judges impressed by the vehicle's excellent driveability and stunning looks.

The ZE is Renault's first 100 per cent electric van and was launched in October last year.
