The Ford Transit now comes with an aux-in socket that plays mp3 players, which makes it even more tempting for van insurance customers to spend more time in their vehicle.
Models built since September come with the socket, which is positioned beneath the upper dashboard lid on the passenger's side.
It means that van insurance holders can now play their downloaded mp3 player or iPod songs through the Transit's audio system.
"With sales of new Transit surging in the UK, 60,000 new drivers are set for even greater driving enjoyment," stated Ford.
But van drivers' enjoyment could be dampened by recent changes to the Highway Code, which said that playing loud music could be considered an unsafe distraction by the police.
