Why van insurance shoppers could consider Mercedes-Benz range

Van insurance shoppers might like to opt for the Mercedes-Benz range of vehicles as the manufacturer believes the new generation to be a "benchmark" among other commercial models.

The Vito line boasts low fuel consumption - reduced by up to 15 per cent thanks to BlueEFFICIENCY technology - and is also much quieter to drive about in, while handling is easier as a result of an improved cockpit and new suspension.

"The interior of the new-generation model offers simpler controls and a new colour concept," it was observed, while "the quality feel of the passenger compartment has been improved quite noticeably".

What's more, configuration of suspension differs according to the requirements of van insurance shoppers, be it a high-payload panel van or a crewbus variant.

Meanwhile, the company itself recently experienced an increase in market share for the 1.8-3.5 tonne sector, with more than 20,000 new vans registered in 2009.Copyright Performance Direct News
