A new website may inspire more drivers to buy vehicles that require van insurance.
Volkswagen has launched an online resource called vwescape.co.uk to celebrate models that have become style icons.
The manufacturer claimed campers, vans and kombis have been popular choices over the years because they have been used by people to escape from their daily routines and do exciting things with leisure time.
It explained the new website showcases the modern equivalents of classic vehicles.
Visitors will be able to view the company's California campervan, Transporter kombi and Caravelle people carrier.
Images of famous faces using the firm's vehicles in their leisure time will also be displayed on the site.
These include Radio One DJ Jo Whiley and Olympic windsurfer Bryony Shaw.
People will also find the online resource includes links to a range of social networking sites where people can show what they get up to in their spare time to escape reality.
In other news, Volkswagen recently announced it had appointed the Listers van service centre in Stratford-upon-Avon as a new authorised repairer for its vehicles.
