Van Insurance - Volkswagen van deal taken up by firm

Volkswagen van deal taken up by firm

Van insurance customers might want to bag themselves a Volkswagen Caddy Maxi, after the manufacturer announced that the edition is among a selection chosen by a commercial dishwasher supplier.

In news that may interest related businesses, Winterhalter is set to convert its service fleet to the company's vans - ordering 47 vehicles in the process.

As well as the Caddy Maxi, the supplier is also keen to take up the Transporter and Crafter vans.

The remarks of Jason Mackay, operations director at the buyer, are perhaps indicative of the group's eagerness to secure a high-quality range of vehicles.

"We operate a 96 per cent first time fix service for our customers so vehicle reliability was very important in our purchasing decision - and as a German manufacturer we were pleased to find a German van brand that could meet our standards," he said.

This September's IAA Hanover Commercial Vehicle show will be a chance for the latest Caddy Maxi edition to impress the public.Copyright Performance Direct News
