Van insurance drivers have been advised on ways they can relax behind the wheel and stay healthy and happy.
Europcar has produced the checklist of tips to mark National Stress Awareness Day, which takes place on November 5th.
While they may sound obvious, some are easy to forget in the hustle and bustle of daily life!
They include drivers making sure they feel rested before setting off on a journey and avoiding the stress of having to look for a public toilet by visiting the loo before leaving the house.
In addition, plenty of time should be set aside for the trip, mobile phones should be switched off and regular breaks should be factored into the predicted journey time.
Europcar also suggested satnavs were a good stress-busting gadget.
Marketing director Catriona Lougher said: "Stress can also result in common ailments such as headaches, back pain, high blood pressure and can even lead to long-term health problems.
"National Stress Awareness Day is a good opportunity to look at ways to release some tension and stay relaxed behind the wheel."
In other van insurance news, road safety minister Jim Fitzpatrick said this week a life could be saved every day if drivers and passengers used seatbelts.
