Volkswagen van owners in Warwickshire may welcome the fact the manufacturer has authorised another repairer in the area.
Drivers will now be able to take their LCVs to the Listers centre in Stratford-upon-Avon.
The facility has been kitted out with the latest equipment and tools to make sure it is up to scratch – and staff have received additional training.
On top of this, a new ramp has been installed that can accommodate vehicles weighing up to five tonnes, which could be good news for those with the Crafter CR50 model.
In the past, customers would have had to make a trip to Coventry or Worcester to have their vans looked at.
Duncan Sands, head of operations at Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, said: "The appointment of another authorised repairer is good news both for our customers and the local economy in Stratford-upon-Avon."
Meanwhile, drivers who book their vehicle in for regular servicing may find they reduce the likelihood of being involved in an accident, thereby helping to protect their cheap van insurance cover.
