Van insurance customers might be impressed by news that the Ford Transit has been named as the best selling commercial vehicle for the year to date.
The company highlighted research from the Society of Motor Manufacturers which showed that the edition was a market leader during July.
In fact, 3,905 units were sold in the month, taking its tally so far in 2010 to 24,987.
The Transit's share of the medium commercial vehicle sector went up to 25.4 per cent, rising 6.9 per cent.
Since its launch in 1965, more than 2.1 million sales of the version have been made in Britain.
As such, it could be said that many van insurance customers will be persuaded to take out a finance package on a Ford motor this year.
And according to Nigel Sharp, managing director for the business's operations in the UK, the group's recently introduced pricing policy will become permanent this month.
"This will confirm to our customers that Ford provides the best value," he claimed.
