Drivers who always attempt to secure cheap van insurance may find a new model from Ford can help them make savings in other areas.
The Transit ECOnetic boasts fuel economy of 39.2 mpg, which means owners might be able to reduce the amount they spend at the pump each month.
In addition to this, it offers best-in-class CO2 emissions of 189 g/km, so drivers should receive certain tax benefits.
The model is based on the 2.2-litre front-wheel drive Transit with short wheelbase and is available in showrooms immediately.
Prices for the latest addition to the manufacturer's line-up start at £18,095.
Commercial vehicle director Steve Kimber commented: "With this new ECOnetic
we now have the best-in-class CO2. Add that to its durability, reliability and the extensive Ford dealer network and you have a winner."
Earlier this year, the company reported a green version of the Fiesta Van is to be released this autumn.
