Van insurance customers may be interested to learn that the Citroen Berlingo has won several industry accolades since it was released last year, according to its manufacturer.
In 2009, the vehicle has landed Van Fleet's World's Best Small Van Award and was named as the Institute of Transport Management's LCV of the Year, among other prizes.
Commercial operations manager for the organisation Robert Handyside branded it "the most versatile" vehicle of its kind.
He remarked: "Berlingo offers class-leading levels of fuel economy and emissions and is the only van in its class with widespread standard fitment of Trafficmaster Smartnav satellite navigation."
As well as the standard edition, there are also temperature-controlled and glass-carrier versions for van insurance consumers with specialist needs.
Citroen yesterday (October 29th) announced that it is implementing new carbon-efficient technology throughout its LCV range, in an effort to reduce harmful emissions.
