The title was bestowed upon the car by Track & Race Car magazine for the second consecutive year.
Editor of the publication Keith Wood commented that the vehicle was above all others in terms of a day of fun at the track, the Fermanagh Herald reports.
Special correspondent, John Hayman, said of the model: "Without doubt it's a non-compromised track car, and it shows and rewards for being so. That's why it's the unquestioned winner for me."
Technical editor Andy Dawson commented that the model was fitted with an excellent engine, while the publication added that the chassis is what puts the vehicles "into another league".
Predecessor the Clio Renaultsport 182 ceased production in 2005 and was later replaced by the 197.
