Seat has claimed the World Touring Car Championship for the second consecutive year, sports car insurance followers have learned.
The Spanish team clinched the title at the season-ending race in Maccau, with driver Gabriele Tarquini winning the Drivers' World Championship at the same time.
This latest victory comes in spite of the recent introduction of new rules, which had the potential of derailing Seat's efforts as they served to limit the potential of its Leon TDI cars.
Speaking after the Maccau race, Seat sport director Jaime Puig said: "After the two championships achieved last year, we wanted to take at least one of the titles this year, and we took them both.
"It's been an extraordinary result."
This brings to five the number of world titles the manufacturer has won in the sport, while Tarquini has become the oldest driver to have taken the title, at the age of 47.
In other news likely to be of interest to sports car insurance seekers, teenage Formula One star Jaime Alguersuari was recently unveiled as the latest 'Seat Ambassador', and he will now drive a Leon Cupra R when not behind the wheel of his race car.
