Various sports car insurance holders eager to see an "iconic" motor or two this year recently attended the Caterham Drive Experience.
The event at the Birmingham NEC involved 2,000 trade professionals and consumers included in demonstrations from a professional driver - in a Caterham Seven - on an indoor drift course.
According to the organisers, people queued throughout the weekend to have a go in the car.
Marketing manager for Caterham Cars James Drake said the exciting ride rendered them all "speechless".
"Even those who have been in the cockpit of a Seven many times still get as much of a blast out of the car. The noise, the smells and sensation of speed always puts huge grins on faces," he added.
The news follows Caterham Cars' recent partnership with a luxury yacht builder to encapsulate the "millionaire lifestyle".
It lent one of its Sevens to the Sunseeker International stand at the London International Boat Show 2010.
