Prestige car insurance: Fans flock to motor event

It may not have escaped the attention of those who love sports models that a recent motor sale has seen many top vehicles find new owners.

On January 21st, BCA Nottingham hosted a sale of prestige, sporting and executive cars, with more than 300 buyers making their way to the auction hall.

Among the top-selling motors was the 2006 Aston Martin DB9, which achieved a price of £53,500, while the 2005 Bentley Continental GT was flogged for £51,000.

Other brands that appeared to be popular among onlookers were models from the likes of Ferrari, Range Rover, Lotus and Mercedes.

Commenting on the event, Tony Gannon, BCA communications director, suggested that it went to show there is "plenty of demand for these high-value prestige and executive models".

In other prestige car insurance news, two popular Aston Martin motors – the DBS and V12 Vantage – have been given a bespoke Carbon Black makeover for new special editions.Copyright Performance Direct News
