Drivers in the UK with performance car insurance could find that the new G37 Convertible from Infiniti is right for them.
The model makes its worldwide debut when it goes on display at the 2008 Los Angeles Auto Show in November, with the firm adding that a US release is expected in 2009 followed by a UK launch.
A three-piece automatic retracting hardtop is installed on the car, allowing it to keep a couple-like roofline, while a unique interior treatment can also be bought for it.
"The G37 Convertible is under study for launch in Europe where it would join its sister G models, the G37 Sedan and Coupe, in Infiniti Centres which begin opening across the Continent from October," said the firm.
Infiniti was initially established in 1989 by Nissan as the company's luxury car division. It began operations in North America shortly afterwards.
