Celebrities, sportspeople and TV personalities have today (July 23rd) taken part in a special charity car racing event at Silverstone.
Famous faces ranging from Strictly Come Dancing star Brendan Cole and former England footballer Luther Blissett to TV chef Heston Blumenthal and radio DJ Johnnie Walker will all put on their crash helmets in order to raise cash at the BSM Centenary Abarth 500 Celebrity Challenge.
All proceeds from the event - which is one of the features of the Silverstone Classic motorsport festival taking place until July 25th - will go to the Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research.
The vehicles being used for the race have been modified to provide the drivers with a more suitable car in which to compete, and they have also been finished in the colours of the man they are named after, Karl Abarth.
Meanwhile, Ferrari this week announced some of the high-octane attractions that will be available to visitors to its new theme park in Abu Dhabi.
