Luxury vehicle manufacturer Bentley has continued it winning ways and picked up a number of new awards for its Mulsanne and Continental GTC models.
The company has achieved four new accolades from a number of sources over recent days, winning the title of Best Super Luxury Car for the Continental GT coupe at the Hurun Report's Best of the Best 2012 awards, as well as picking up the coveted Limited Edition Super Luxury Car title for the Bentley Continental FlyingSpur.
Furthermore, the accolades do not stop there, with the World Luxury Association bestowing a Luxury Oscar Award on the company, while confirming Bentley's place among its Top 100 Most Valuable Luxury Brands rankings at a ceremony in Beijing last week.
Finally, the Bentley Mulsanne picked up the annual Readers' Choice award for the Most Luxurious vehicle from The Detroit News. It is a particularly popular industry award, as it is based on the feedback from 100 readers of the publication who were able to rank the vehicles on display at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in terms of their desirability. It is also the only NAIAS award that is chosen solely by the public.
The announcement follows the recent unveiling of the manufacturer's new Continental GTC convertible at the Qatar International Motor Show in Doha.
It features an upgraded 575PS 6.0 litre, twin-turbo-charged W12 engine, which boosts performance for the vehicle and builds on the legacy of the brand following its initial release back in 2006.
Alasdair Stewart, member of the board for sales and marketing at Bentley Motors, said at the time: "We are delighted to be here in Qatar with the new GTC. It has always been the most emotional model in the Continental range and a showcase for Bentley design."
