Auction may spark interest among fast car insurance motorists
03 Oct 2008
An auction is due to take place this month which may be of interest to fast car insurance customers.
The sale due to take place in Battersea, London will see one of the most valuable vehicle collections ever seen in Britain go under the hammer, the Evening Standard has reported.
Among the cars up for grabs is the Ferrari which was driven by Cameron Diaz in Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle.
The 1963 250 GT California Spyder SWB is expected to fetch in the region of £3.5 million.
Another car being auctioned off is the silver 1965 Aston Martin DB5 featured in Robbie Williams' Millennium video.
Commenting on whether the credit crunch would affect selling prices, Paul Wallman from RM Auctions said: "People are still spending a lot of money on old cars even when there is so much going on in the world."
It has been predicted that the collection will raise in the region on £20 million.
As well as appearing in the Charlie's Angels films, Cameron Diaz also starred in The Mask and There's Something About Mary.
