Riding experience could appeal to bike insurance seekers

The Ducati Riding Experience (DRE) could appeal to bike insurance customers who want to hone their skills in a professional environment.

Motorcycle enthusiasts who have been awaiting announcements from the Italian bike manufacturer concerning their plans for their riding school in 2010 can now rest easy.

Ducati has confirmed that in partnership with the Federazione Motociclistica Italiana (FMI) they will offer a more rigorous programme of courses in the year ahead.

The bike manufacturer announced the adoption of FMI parameters for their basic course to offer new riders a better learning foundation at top Italian circuits.

Ducati said: "The DRE offers an all-round experience with great courses, exciting tracks, a line-up of 30 top instructors, a fleet of 90 dedicated Ducati motorcycles and a support staff of more than 30".

At the end of February, Ducati dealers in the UK revealed that they were expecting the arrival of the manufacturer's new 2010 models to begin in the early part of March.Copyright Performance Direct News
