Motorcycle insurance customers encouraged to enter Pride of Ownership
06 Oct 2008
Motorcycle insurance customers are being urged to get their entries for the Pride of Ownership competition in as soon as possible.
The event which is to take place during the Classic Motor Show at Birmingham in November has 50 spots available and entrants will be picked on a first come first served basis.
RealClassic magazine will be judging the competition and will also donate the trophies and rosettes to be awarded to the winners.
There are four bike categories pre 1946, 1946-1959, 1960-1969 and 1970 onwards.
Prizes will also be handed out for the best British, European and Japanese motorcycles.
An overall winner from all the classes will also be chosen and will be the subject of a feature to appear in a future edition of RealClassic.
Organisers of this year's Classic Motor Show have dedicated an entire hall to motorbikes this year.
Biking clubs from across the UK will be present and visitors will get to see a range of vehicles from pre-war to 80s modern classics.
