Motorbike insurance seekers 'should head to the ballot box'

Consumers who are eager to find motorbike insurance might want to consider getting politically active over the coming months, judging by the details of a new campaign.

Three organisations – the Motorcycle Action Group, the British Motorcyclists Federation and the Motor Cycle Industry Association – are coming together to try and motivate bikers to vote in the 2010 general election.

From the start of the new year, riders and businesses in the automotive sector will aim to encourage local parliamentarians to consider matters that have an impact on motorcyclists – such as road surfaces, policing and parking.

The manifesto – Britain Needs Biking – could be a rallying call for riders looking to improve their overall experience on the road.

With the campaign titled Riders Are Voters, the organisers hope bikers across the country will get involved.

In other motorcycle news, Honda recently announced that it will launch its 2010 range on February 13th and 14th next year.Copyright Performance Direct News
