Riders with motorbike insurance could be nodding their heads at the news the German bike manufacturer has won more awards.
The BMW F 800 GS scooped Best Trailie Bike of the Year at the Motor Cycle News Awards
BMW also received a special commendation in the Accessories category for its Lowered Suspension Option, which is an option on around a third of its motorcycles.
Adrian Roderick, general manager for BMW Motorrad UK, said 2008 had been a "record-breaking year" for the company.
"To win this award for the F 800 GS and the special commendation for our Lowered Suspension Option, is the icing on the cake," he added.
The "all-new all-terrain" is billed by its makers as being worthy of its GS (Gelande Strasse) heritage and at an "affordable price".
Motorcyclists were recently advised by the Institute of Advanced Motorists to be aware of car drivers who fail to see them.
