Motorcycle insurance seekers might already be aware that the 2010 Maxxis British Motocross Championship kicked off recently.
Carl Nunn and Matiss Karro, who ride a MVR-D Suzuki model, had a challenging start to their title bid at the Little Silver Track, Devon.
The former finished the qualifying round as the second fastest rider, before suffering a crash in the first two races.
However, he regained some ground on the rest by completing the third race in fifth position.
Commenting on the day's proceedings, the rider said: "The final race went a little more to plan, but still wasn't quite as I'd hoped. We have learned important lessons this weekend and will be stronger for round two."
Meanwhile, Karro finished the three stages in eighth, sixth and fourteenth positions.
