Bike insurance could protect Honda extreme-weather motorcycles

Riders planning to invest in an extreme-weather motorcycle from Honda may wish to invest in some motorcycle insurance to protect their new ride from the elements.

Honda is offering heated grip sets and colour-matched top boxes on some of its adventure motorcycle models, in light of the recent harsh weather conditions and its expectation of interest in hardier models from customers.

While the complimentary nature of the offer might mean that riders face no greater outlay when making bike purchases from Honda, the combined retail cost of the gifts at more than £500 could encourage them to look for motorcycle insurance capable of covering the full value of their vehicle.

Honda suggests that the offer is ideal "if you ride through all weathers" or for anyone looking for a vehicle capable of meeting their transportation needs.

Standard and ABS models of the XL1000V Varadero and XL700VATransalp bought between now and the end of March are subject to the special offer.

Honda customers keen to keep their bike in good working order to avoid making a motorcycle insurance claim may also be interested in the company's offer of a £99 service with free pickup and delivery of the vehicle.Copyright Performance Direct News
