Motorcycle insurance seekers might be gladdened by news that riders in the capital will be able to use red route bus lanes in accordance with a new trial set out by Transport for London (TfL).
Over the course of 18 months, participants can travel in the 418 lanes alongside buses, following an apparently successful test carried out previously.
The recent period in which such activity was permitted saw journey times for motorcyclists who took advantage of the initiative cut by ten per cent, according to TfL.
Furthermore, the body asserted that 51 per cent of riders switched from using the outside of the road to the bus lanes.
As such, bike enthusiasts might be pleased by any measures that make it easier to traverse the capital and enjoy a stress-free journey.
Moreover, TfL recently announced that 1,700 customers signed up within hours of the Barclays Cycle Hire membership drive's opening.
