Modified car insurance customers 'can go green'
19 Aug 2008 Modified car insurance customers 'can go green'

Drivers with modified car insurance can choose to go green by renting an environmentally-friendly vehicle from Green Motion.

The company has received membership to the British Vehicle Rental and Lending Association (BVRLA) and has to follow its criteria, such as providing top customer service.

Its charter states that vehicles must also be clean and safe, providing low mileage, while companies must make sure they disclose all pricing details to drivers.

Richard Lowden, Green Motion founder, stated that the admission espouses the firm's beliefs.

"Green Motion's membership of the BVRLA further strengthens our organisation's commitment to deliver the highest levels of customer service to both our retail and corporate hirers," said the official.

Meanwhile, Hybrid Car News has commented that demand for environmentally-friendly cars is not being capitalised on by automobile manufacturers, who are still not marketing such vehicles properly.Copyright Performance Direct News
