Anyone with an interest in the gadgets and spectacular vehicles driven by fictional super-spy James Bond might like to head along to an exhibition of some of 007's iconic cars next year.
The National Motor Museum in Beaulieu is hosting the Bond in Motion exhibition from January 17th 2012, with the show set to run throughout the year until December.
Fans of the James Bond series are to be treated to an up-close inspection of the spy's most celebrated cars, with many of Q's creations set to be on display for the crowds to enjoy.
The exhibition will feature notable cars like the Ford Mustang Mach 1 from Diamonds Are Forever, as well as Zukovsky's Rolls Royce Silver Shadow II from The World Is Not Enough. Fans of classic Bond cars will also not be let down as the vintage 1962 Rolls Royce featured in A View to A Kill will also be on show.
Anyone interested some of the other vehicles used by 007 in the films will also be able to check out items like the surfboard with concealed weapons and ammunition from Die Another Day and the 'Burial-At-Sea Bed' from You Only Live Twice.
Based on the novels by Ian Fleming, James Bond has become one of the most popular characters of the last 50 years, featuring in 23 movies to date, including the newest title Skyfall which is set to come to cinemas across the globe in 2012.
Entrance to Bond in Motion will form part of the admission fare to the National Motor Museum, with the event a celebration of the 50th anniversary of the first Bond film, as well as helping the museum to mark its own 40th anniversary.
It is set to be the largest James Bond exhibition in the world and will showcase 50 of the best-loved Bond vehicles in total.
