The new concept hybrid from Lexus has achieved the honour of being named the winner of the EyesOn Design Award at the Detroit Motor Show.
Fans of imported vehicles may be pleased to hear the new LF-LC Hybrid Sport Coupe Concept draws on the same design principles as the manufacturers 2+2 coupe.
Kevin Hunter, president of Lexus's Calty studio in California, said: "The LF-LC was a dream car to design and a true collaborative effort at Calty. It is an honour to have that work recognised by our peers and to receive the award."
The news follows the recent unveiling of Jaguar's new C-X75 and C-X16 models at the New Delhi Auto Expo in India.
Adrian Hallmark, Jaguar global brand director, commented at the time that reaction to both of the new designs was extremely positive and that the C-X75 is destined to be one of the world's most desirable and advanced supercars.
