Convicted Driver / Drivers with Accidents - Reality TV star is likely to need insurance for convicted drivers

Reality TV star is likely to need insurance for convicted drivers

A US reality TV star recently given three years' probation may have to look into changing her insurance for convicted drivers.

Stephanie Pratt, who stars in Hollywood-set MTV show The Hills, was prosecuted with driving under the influence last year.

However, these charges were dropped after she pleaded no contest to a misdemeanour count of "exhibition of speed".

The 23-year-old was ordered to complete a 12-week alcohol education programme and attend three Alcoholics Anonymous meetings per week for eight weeks in addition to the informal probation.

Pratt was also fined. She was originally arrested on October 17th last year and bailed.

The celebrity's history of substance abuse problems has been detailed somewhat on the reality show, although it is yet to be seen whether this arrest makes it to the final cut.

Other reality stars who have been convicted of driving offences include Khloe Kardashian, who was charged with driving under the influence.
