Classic car insurance news: A classic car rally which took place over weekend was a great success, with attendance breaking all previous records, the event organisers have said.
Sunday's Classic Car Rally and Country Show in Louth, Lincolnshire, hosted by the area's local Rotary Club, saw about 250 classic cars participate.
Martin Chatterton, president of the Rotary Club of Louth, told the Louth Leader: "It was a record year. We are grateful to local people for supporting the Rotary Club."
The classic car part of the show was organised by Trevor Marris, who described the event as being the most successful classic car show the area had seen.
"It is getting known all over the country as one of the best car shows in the area," he said, adding that the day had been made special by the public turning out in force.
Last week, the 12th annual Guernsey Classic Vehicle Club's annual show was also described as a success despite bad weather.
