The timetable for events at the upcoming Donington Historic Festival 2012 has been announced, which could be excellent news for classic car enthusiasts planning a trip to one of the UK's biggest classic car showcases.
Running from Saturday May 5th to Sunday the 6th, a host of attractions await classic car fans.
In total, more than 35 car clubs will be in attendance during the course of the weekend, meaning there will be something for every fan to enjoy, such as AC Cobra and Jaguar, to name just two.
Furthermore, a round in the E-Type Challenge is set to take place at the historic race track, with excellent examples of some of the world's best-loved classic cars being driven to the limit for the benefit of festivalgoers.
Elsewhere, the annual Race Retro event is set to be held again at Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire this month.
Taking place on February 24th to 26th, the event encompasses a wide array of classic vehicles, including the rare treat of the appearance of the first Group C Porsche 956 - the 001 first prototype chassis that was raced in Rothmans livery by Jackie Ickx and Derek Bell.
