Classic car insurance seekers may have noted details of one competition being held across the UK.
There are six categories for the promotion, among them pre-war motors and those from each decade between the forties and eighties.
It is organised by Classic Car Weekly, Classic Cars and Practical Classics magazines, with a first prize having a value of £3,500.
Participants are invited to enter their prized vehicles for the honour, which will see a winner crowned the Classic Car of the Year.
As such, the potential prize may inspire drivers to put forward their special contender.
In addition, the motors that accrue the most votes will be displayed at the Birmingham NEC from November 12th to the 14th.
Moreover, there are no limits on the amount of cars participants can enter for the accolade.
Fans of vintage models may be aware that radio DJ Chris Evans recently purchased a classic Ferrari edition for a reported £12 million.
