Fans of classic vehicles keen to bag a bargain might be happy to hear that the annual Footman James Classic Motor Show is set to feature a live auction for the first time in 2012.
"We will obviously be focusing on classic cars, befitting the surroundings, but I'm sure there'll also be some competition cars and more modern supercars under the hammer," commented Nick Whale, managing director of Silverstone Auctions.
He added that this is an extremely exciting opportunity for classic car lovers, enabling UK buyers to have access to some of the most desirable classic vehicles that are going to be on the market in 2012.
The event will be taking place at the Birmingham NEC in November and will feature more than 1,400 beautifully-restored classic vehicles of all shapes and sizes and from all eras.
The show's organisers stated: "It's all about bringing together people who share a passion for cars."
