The Classic Motor Show is encouraging vintage vehicle clubs to mark the 50th anniversary of the opening of Britain's first motorway the Preston bypass by celebrating some of the best driving roads in the world.
Organisers of this year's event have revealed antique auto enthusiasts will be asked to think about which are the best highways and byways across the globe for a leisurely trip in a historic car.
The event is scheduled to take place between November 13th and 15th at Birmingham's National Exhibition Centre.
Show manager Andy Rouse explained the gathering was for all the motorists who appreciate a vintage vehicle driver "is rewarded with far greater emotional payback" than someone who owns a modern machine.
He stated: "Classics are just more fun and the clubs demonstrate just how much more every year."
Meanwhile, drivers who are inspired to invest in their first antique auto after attending the event may find they can secure a great deal on classic car insurance online.
