Blinking assessment could cut classic car insurance costs

Blinking can help motorists save on their classic car insurance policies through avoiding accidents.
According to research conducted by GEM Motoring Assist, people who drink more than the average ten times per minutes are either bored or tired and could be more likely to be involved in a crash.
It may be that fewer crashes because of this see people make fewer claims on their classic car insurance policies as a result.
David Williams, chief executive of the breakdown firm, remarked that the method is a good way of assessing whether drivers should still be travelling.
He said: "It is a built-in early warning system that gives us the opportunity to head for the nearest motorway service area or other refuge from the road before our driving becomes erratic and potentially dangerous."
This comes as GEM was recently rated the best roadside breakdown firm by Auto Express.
