News of one brand's presence at the Goodwood Festival of Speed might impress classic car insurance seekers looking for a worthwhile new deal.
The Alvis Car Company has announced plans to reintroduce a 1930s model which uses the original drawings from the era, as well as the latest technology of today.
As such, it might prove a hit with driving enthusiasts who are keen on the finest aspects of classic and contemporary motoring.
According to Alvis' service company Red Triangle, there were 77 units of the model earmarked for production, although these were never created because motor production was suspended in 1940.
Regarding the news, Alan Stote, Red Triangle and Alvis Car Company proprietor, said the priority is to "reintroduce selected authentic Alvis models in line with the vision of the Alvis Board all those years ago".
Classic car fans might be interested to learn that the new Alvis company has been formed following the legal transfer of the brand's trademarks.
