Business insurance customers might want to check out the Volvo C30 DRIVe which the manufacturer claims is a highly efficient and environmentally-friendly motor.
The vehicle was recently the recipient of TheGreenCarWebsite.co.uk award for Green Car of the Year 2009.
Responding to the news, the website's editor Faye Sunderland suggested that the carmaker has strong eco-friendly credentials.
She appeared to be impressed that Volvo has "successfully slashed its emissions and as a relative newcomer in the green car market, it is impressive to see the Swedish carmaker make such strong progress in such a short time".
Specifically, businesses with a concern for the environment may be intrigued by the motor's fuel efficiency rate of 74.3 miles per gallon on the combined cycle.
It also emits 99 grams of carbon per kilometre perhaps underlining its appeal to fans of clean driving.
Recently, the manufacturer announced that prices for its C30 SportCoupe will start at £14,495.
