Following an investigation into a range of fleet vehicles, a transport organisation has announced the VW Passat is its number one choice of vehicle this year, business insurance seekers might be interested to know.
The Institute of Transport Management (ITM) sought to identify and recognise those companies that are providing the best support to fleet managers and company drivers.
It cited VW's extensive manufacturing experience and its reputation in the business sector.
Mr Sheedy, spokesperson for ITM, said: "By means of dedicated research and long-term ties with fleet managers, Volkswagen has been able to devise the perfect range of vehicles for company use in today's business environment."
He went on to add that VW takes the financial and environmental concerns of corporations in to consideration, as well as the needs and wants of drivers.
Recently VW announced it had made some revisions to its Phaeton luxury saloon, including new touchscreen satellite navigation and climate control systems and a range of new metallic finishes.
