Nissan LEAF 'attracting interest from high-profile businesses'

Businesses are apparently keen to check out the Nissan LEAF vehicle, if details released by the manufacturer are anything to go by.

According to the brand, companies such as British Gas and IKEA have expressed their interest in the vehicle and been given access to demonstrations.

The order bank for the motor has already opened, giving consumers an opportunity to get their hands on the model.

With those seeking deliveries able to pick up the vehicle for £23,990 - including a £5,000 government incentive - now could be a good time to secure a Nissan motor.

Paul Willcox, managing director of the company's operations in Great Britain, stated that the edition "is generating huge interest across the world, with more than 25,000 customers already putting down deposits in the US and Japan".

Recently, the brand's Sunderland plant hosted the production launch of the new JUKE model - a compact sports crossover that is on sale this month.
