Those on the lookout for a top business insurance detail might have noted that the Mitsubishi i-MiEV has become the first electric vehicle range to be adopted by the Greater London Authority (GLA).
Four editions have been taken up by the GLA, which will eventually have a fleet of 1,000 electric vehicles.
The motors' arrival is part-funded by the government's Low Carbon Procurement Programme and is perhaps in keeping with the mayor of London Boris Johnson's plans to introduce widespread eco-friendly motoring across the capital.
Mr Johnson said: "Very soon electric vehicles and the apparatus needed to support them will be a common sight on London's streets."
Transport for London will operate the cars in its efforts to keep traffic moving while roadworks are carried out.
The capital is set to see 1,600 charge points installed in a bid to encourage environmentally-responsible driving.
Another model that may appeal to corporate customers is the ASX crossover vehicle.
