Business insurance holders looking to gain more security for their vehicle may benefit from Citroen's latest development.
Each Dispatch, Relay and Berlingo light commercial vehicle will come with the stolen motor tracking tool, Trafficmaster Smartnav/Trackstar.
This means that drivers' stress levels can be minimised and corporate costs can be cut, said Charles Peugeot, head of commercial vehicles and business sector sales.
It will also aid fleet operators in reducing carbon emissions, he explained, going on to maintain that "Citroen remains committed to providing its customers with the technology to optimise vehicle efficiency and safety".
A real-time fleet management programme is also available at £19.999 plus VAT per month for LCV customers.
This is claimed to improve communication between head offices and drivers.
News of the technological addition comes a couple of weeks after Citroen announced it was to create a completely electric car in time for launch at the end of 2010.
